- Rachel Tunnicliffe Review added: 2017.12.23★ ★ ★ ★ ★First week of the summer holidays was spent with family and friends at Fron and what a fabulous campsite it is.
We are pretty new to camping but it's such a great friendly site and we know we'll definitely be going back.
The pitches were very spacious and very well kept. Our electric wasn't quite long enough, so Mark kindly lent us an extension for the week.
The facilities are great. The kids loved the park and it was nice to know they were safe to play and close by. The swimming pool, wow, what a great addition. Was a bit chilly at times but once in there it was fab. We spent a fair few hours in the pool. The showers/toilets/washing up facilities were all really great and super clean, maybe a little dated if anything but that doesn't really matter as long as it's clean, then that's the main thing.
There is a small shop on site which has all the basics and is great to get you started with a few bits. My girls loved popping over to the shop for a bottle of milk in the morning.
Mark, Dith and George just wanted to say a huge thankyou for such a warm welcome to Fron, such a lovely site and the gardens are beautiful.
